Happy Easter

One of my favorite holidays is Easter. There's something so fun about decorating the eggs and waking up to have them hidden all over the house. We decorated eggs today (after grabbing two of the last three cartons of white eggs on the shelf) and then also participated in two Easter Egg hunts. Yippee! Here's a peek at what we did.

Phuket, Thailand

I'm terrible about posting travel pictures, so while I'm thinking about it, here are a few from our latest trip. We went to Phuket over Christmas. We're still in awe that such amazing places are so nearby. OK...added some from Bali and Vietnam, too. Spoiled, aren't we? Let's see if I actually get a real post with details about the trips. But for now, enjoy!

Anni's first "real" visit to the beach. Bali doesn't count cause the poor girl was miserable. This time, she crawled around, ate sand and didn't want to leave!

Amazing temple...

Our little 10 week old in Bali.

Seven months old. Hanoi, Vietnam.

Had fun today. . .

Life is never dull with these two. They're our "sweetie hearts" as Olivia likes to put it.

Acorn and Aurora

Let me introduce you to Acorn and Aurora Bunny. These two little cuties of mine are so hilarious. We went on a little trip to Phuket over the Christmas break, and the pack-n-play the hotel had included a little door the girls could zip open and crawl up into Annika's little bed. Well, sweet Livvy decided that it was her bunny cave and that she and Annika were little bunnies. Annika's name was Acorn and Livvy, of course, was Aurora. We had to feed them food and everything. Little baby rice puffs was their favorite meal.

This little game bought us at least an hour of free time every morning to get ready. :)

But more importantly, it made me realize how much fun these two are going to have in the coming year. I love the fact that they can play with each other, even though little Annika is only 10 months old. Livvy is such a sweet big sister to her and Anni wants nothing more than to chase after her. She cries when Livvy leaves.

Tonight, we went to the playground at our condo and Annika speed-crawled across the playground to follow Livvy. Up the slide, over to the swing. It was so sweet. Little Annika was laughing at the fact she could be big like her sister.

We love these two women. Feel so blessed to be their parents.

Oh, Santa!

Yes...I paid to have the digital copies of these. Can't resist pics of my girlies. And Santa. My favorite is number two, where Livvy is attempting to comfort Annika.

BFF's

This was too cute not to post right away. One of my favorite parts about Singapore is all the amazing mothers and children the same age as mine. These cuties are just a month apart.

A moment in my life...

For some reason, we took the camera with us the other day while out shopping. Glad we did. Troy managed to take these pictures while I wasn't looking. Sums up how I get around town these days. One girl strapped to me, the other in the stroller (for the most part). Now that Annika is getting bigger she wants to drive the stroller herself. Olivia isn't too keen on that and wants to be the boss.

I'm so grateful for these two sweethearts. I couldn't imagine life without them. It's crazy. Challenging. A bit frustrating. But man alive, it's so fun. These two are fun, smart, happy little women. Annika is now crawling like crazy and can pull herself up on furniture. Her sister is her favorite person and Annika wants to be big like Olivia. For the most part, Livvy does pretty good with little sis. She is so sweet to her and makes sure to tell me when Annika is being naughty and eating stuff on the floor. Olivia is a big helper. She's constantly asking "why?" She loves to draw and be creative.

Love these women. Love their daddy, too. xxx

Why I love Troy...he's ever-patient and sweet. This pic makes me giggle. He's grabbing our little runaway and dragging her back to the stroller.
